Wikipedia defines a Serious Game as " a game designed for a primary purpose other than pure entertainment.[...]Serious games are designed for the purpose of solving a problem. Although serious games can be entertaining, their main purpose is to train, investigate, or advertise."

 Solution Grove has created a serious Serious Game platform!  Inspired by Urgent Evoke, Spark People and Four Square our gaming platform has serious features:

• Different types of Points that can be earned
• Badges that can be awarded by total points or different types of point totals
• A Todo Item manager with points awards and scaffolded reflection
• Content pages with point collection
• Post activities to River/Wall/Stream
• Friend capability
• Ability for players to award players points
• Facebook Integration

Our first game is Job Tac Toe, now in Beta testing.  It is a game to educate, motivate and connect job hunters.

 Games are well suited to education and to motivating people to take action.  We expect this platform to have many additional applications!
