Updating a Distance Report
- Log on to http://www.mycsm.com/ as Site-Wide Administrator or log on using an account with site-wide admin privileges.
- Click on Data/Project Administration from the links listed at the bottom of the page.

- On the resulting page, Project Crew Admin, refer to the Data Management and CSVs section and click Manage Users. This brings you further to the Admin page listing all employees.
- On the resulting page that lists all employees, click Bulk Upload Employees (CSV).

- On the resulting page, click Download a CSV of Employee Records and save the CSV file.
- You may edit the contents of the CSV file, as necessary. It is advisable to delete the rows which do not need updating to cut down on distance re-computation time.
- Upload the edited file. To do this, from the same page where you downloaded a CSV file, scroll down to the bottom of the page, specify the file to upload on the designated field, and click OK.
Note that the file needs, at least, the id, first_names, and last_name columns present alongside the address columns. The other columns may or may not be included. If present, the other columns will be updated as well. If not, they retain their old values.
- At this point, the system enqueues the entries to be used by a scheduled procedure that will automatically recompute the distance between the employee and the store. This procedure runs every 6 minutes and updates 150 entries at a time. Depending on the number of records updated, the whole re-computation process can be done in as little as 6 minutes, for updates of 150 records or less, or 30 minutes or more, for updates of 750 records or more. This all happens transparent to the user.
- You may proceed viewing the updated distance report. It may have stale entries, depending on how long the previous step takes to execute, but, eventually, they will all be recomputed.
