Cleaning Out Old Users

The following steps illustrate how to clean out old users:

  1. Log on to http://www.mycsm.com/  as Site-Wide Administrator or log on using an account with site-wide admin privileges.  Successful login brings you to My CSM Monthly Guidance Portal.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Data/Project Administration.  This brings you to the Project Crew Admin page.

  3. From the Data Management and CSVs section, click Manage Users.  This brings you further to the Admin page that lists all users.

  4. From the Admin page, click Bulk Upload Employees (CSV).  This brings you to the next Admin page where you may download employee records and agency codes.

  5. Download a CSV of Employee Records, if necessary.

  6. Properly set the Status column on the CSV for uploading.
    • for "banned" status, the user's account and all the user's associated records will be kept in the database but the system will not allow the user to log in.  This is useful if you want to just temporarily disable an account but reinstate it in the future.  These users will also appear as "terminated" on the IVR Agents screen.  Note that banned users will be automatically deleted from the database after 12 months.
    • for "deleted" status, the user's account and all the user's associated records will be removed from the database.  If, for some reason, the system fails to completely delete a user, the system will automatically set the user's status to "banned" so that the user will no longer be able to log on.
  7. Upload the edited CSV file.  To do this, from the same page where you downloaded the CSV file, scroll down to the bottom of the page, specify on the designated field the file to upload, and click OK.

  8. Take note of the output.  Errors will be shown in red.
